Description
A rare and powerful cousin of the legendary Yamaha CS-80, the Yamaha SK-50D is a dual-manual monster that combines an organ, string synthesizer, polysynth, bass synth, and CS-series-style lead—all in one epic package. Built with many of the same custom IC chips as the CS-80 and featuring lush vintage effects like a classic BBD ensemble and aftertouch, this synth delivers the sounds of multiple vintage Yamahas in one unit. The proprietary Yamaha chips alone are worth the price of admission.
Synthesizer is in good physical condition and includes the lid and legs (but no crossbars), and the original style power cord! One slider cap is not original and there are a couple keys with cosmetic blemishes. Pots and sliders are in need of cleaning, but the synthesizer, all keys, and even the aftertouch are functioning fine.
