Description
This is a vintage ARP Odyssey. The synthesizer powers on and makes sound (both oscillators, the filter, and the VCA all seem to be working), but needs servicing. The sliders are very dirty and cutting out of contact, the key bushings need to be replaced and the key contacts are dirty. I have recapped the power supply. Outside of the case has some rust (on the right side, and on the bottom), but is clean inside. The right leather side panel is also water damaged. Since this synthesizer is not in good condition, I decided to make this one available to someone who might want to put a little work into TLC to get a vintage ARP Odyssey at a great deal. While I have done my best to describe the functional state of the synthesizer, I’m not making any guarantees or warranties, and this is sold as-is, for parts or repair, with no returns.
Prospective buyers are welcome to come try it out before purchasing. Local pickup is welcome and encouraged. This is a vintage electronic item, so all sales will be as-is and final. The keyboard will be packed well and insured for the full sale price.
