Description
This kit contains replacements for all 37 red panel LEDs (the ones under the pushbuttons) and the associated current limiting resistors for the Polymoog Synthesizer Model 203a. The original LEDs were dim, yet power hungry–with the new LEDs and resistors installed power consumption is reduced by 0.25A, reducing heat and strain on the power supply. The original LEDs also had a high failure rate and often functioned intermittently or not at all. The new LEDs are low profile and will not touch or damage the translucent overlay that covers them.
This product requires disassembly of the synthesizer and soldering skills to install.
