ARP Omni 1 Replacement Switch

This is a brand new retrofit switch created by Synthchaser for the ARP Omni 1.  If you own an Omni 1, you know all about the original problematic pushbutton switches. The mechanical latches on the switch often break, leaving you unable to turn on functionality of your synth.  Other times the latch is working intermittently, or only if you press the switch at just the right angle…

Finally there’s a solution!  This is a drop in replacement switch made from modern, more reliable parts.  It fits the original switch cap (not included), and unlatched sits at the same height as the original switch.  The travel, or distance between the latched and unlatched height is a little less than the original switch, but otherwise it would be difficult to tell it from the original once it’s installed in the synth.  Of course, if you replace all the switches the latched/unlatched height will be consistent across the synth.
