Description
8243 Port Expander IC Chip as used in the ARP Quadra (2 used in each Quadra). An obsolete chip worth having in your ARP Quadra survival kit. Common problems caused by failure of these chips include non-responsive membrane panel buttons, improper scanning of keybed, and wrong control voltages generated by the microcomputer board.
Used pull from IC socket (never soldered), and tested working in IC tester. Wide DIP-24 package, 0.600″ width (please disregard stock photo).
